NYS Quick Reference

2011/12 Budget. Review the latest enacted budget for New York State, as well as the budgets from past years.  One can also review the budget process, gather investment information and track future bond sales.

Board of Elections.  Every year elections take place throughout the state.  Get election information and voter registration forms here.

Directory of Schools in NYS. Alphabetical index of public schools throughout the 57 counties and five boroughs.

Find State Laws.  Locate legislative session information in the Senate and Assembly.

New York State Government. The official website for all government agencies in New York State.

New York State Higher Education Services Corporation. HESC coordinates all aspects of higher education in New York State including financial aid applications (FAFSA) and tools for students and parents, college and career planning resources, and related publications. 

New York State Senate. Brief biographies and committee assignments of Senators.

New York State Assembly. Brief biographies and committee assignments of Assemblymembers.

Office of the Attorney General. Serving as the "people's lawyer" and the states chief legal officer, the AG protects the rights of consumers, businesses and the environment by hearing complaints, providing defense in lawsuits brought against state agencies and employees, and investigating fraud.  

Public Registry of Sex OffendersSearchable database by name, county or zip code of convicted offenders in the state.
